POSITION SUMMARY
Supervise logistics employees who verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Duties include shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.

Communication skills. Need strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and do business with suppliers and customers.
Critical-thinking skills. Must develop, adjust, and carry out logistical plans, while finding ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Customer service skills. Must know the needs of their customers to coordinate the movement of materials between suppliers and customers. Gaining this knowledge through listening to the customer and applying their knowledge of the products and systems to provide what is required.
Organizational skills. Must be able to keep detailed records and simultaneously manage several projects in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving skills. Must handle unforeseen issues, such as delivery problems, and adjust plans as needed to resolve the issues.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business Analytics (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 2 years' experience in logistics or shipping.
3 years’ experience in a supervisory role in logistics or related field.
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of logistics software (JDE and UPS), warehouse software (WMS) & Salesforce(preferred)
Certifications &Licenses: Valid Driver’s License, forklift certification.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual midpoint salary for this position is expected $97,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
