Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
Duties:
- Prepare patients for surgery by conducting pre-operative assessments and ensuring all necessary paperwork and consents are completed
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by providing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Monitor patients' vital signs, anesthesia administration, and surgical site throughout the procedure
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and provide post-operative care to patients as needed
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of
- Previous experience working in an operating room setting is preferred
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
