Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Duties:
- Perform venipuncture and administer medications as ordered
- Provide direct patient care in various settings, including the emergency room, triage, diagnostic evaluation, acute care, hospice palliative medicine, infant care, nursing home, and behavioral health
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess changes in health status
- Administer treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques
- Assist with discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions of care
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- Proficiency in venipuncture and medication administration
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
