- Manage resources per company policy.
- Develop and execute Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment processes to drive collaborative inventory management through joint visibility and product replenishment throughout the supply chain.
- Satisfy customer demands while creating internal operational efficiencies (e.g., optimize inventory investment and minimize logistics costs).
- Develop, manage, and execute global sourcing and risk management strategies that improve supply chain reliability, agility, flexibility/speed-to-market, and product quality.
- Drive improvements in global performance metrics for all levels of procurement and replenishment activities: supplier performance, material cost savings/avoidances, forecast accuracy, inventory investment, on-time delivery, lead time, and overall service level.
- Maintain strict trade compliance standards with US and International Customs authorities to maintain a high importer rating and ensure a consistent, reliable flow of international goods and services.
- Develop sourcing options for new products and services that deliver incremental value, define supplier quality and capability requirements, and jointly establish supplier qualification/development criteria with the Quality team.
- Lead and implement supplier performance reviews to ensure adherence to performance standards throughout the entire supply chain, including product quality, on-time/in-full delivery of products and services, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with the top executives who lead Sales and Operations to develop, implement, and sustain an effective product lifecycle management (PLM) program.
- 10 years of experience and accomplishments in global supply chain and procurement.
- Demonstrated procurement success in Asia/China.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and sustaining best supply chain and procurement practices across domestic and global manufacturing supply chains.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
- Experience in consumer goods manufacturing industries; preference for architectural or home décor products.
- Demonstrable success in utilizing ERP and MRP systems effectively.
- Experience in JD Edwards ERP Suite preferred, specifically Supply/Demand Planning, Load Build modules, and equivalent supply chain fulfillment software.
- Extensive knowledge of procurement best practices and tools such as Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment Planning (CPFR), Sales and Operations Planning, Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM), and Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT).
- CSCMP/APICS certifications (CSCP, CPIM, CLTD), ISM certification (CPSM), CPP, Six Sigma, or related professional certifications and training preferred.
- Experience utilizing global sourcing tools such as Panjiva, Alibaba, Thomasnet, and related professional services.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
