Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) / Bilingual Speech Therapist – Axion is immediately hiring several NY-State Licensed Speech Language Pathologists for schools in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Staten Island and Westchester, NY. We have multiple shifts available and the opportunity for hybrid work as well. Recent grads and experienced SLP’s are encouraged to apply.

As a full-time SLP, you will earn $45 - $55 an hour, depending on your experience and location. Plus, you will enjoy Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance options, and Weekly Pay.

You will work with students in local schools and be responsible for developing speech and language skills to improve the personal, social and academic development of students. This includes:

• Providing clear instructions to students both in and out of the classroom on learning and skill development strategies that will improve their language, understanding, and communication abilities.
• Evaluating students social and developmental needs using assessment tools.
• Assisting teachers in implementing and developing curriculum modifications and classroom strategies, as needed.
• Working one on one with students in the classroom to reinforce and support the teacher’s lesson plans.
• Participating in team and professional development planning sessions.

To qualify for these Speech Language Pathologist positions, we require you to have a New York State Speech Language Pathologist License, a New York State Education Department certification and:

• A Teaching Students with Speech-Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Certificate.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in speech-language pathology.
• The ability to work both in person and remotely.
• Bilingual a plus!
