VIRTUAL OFFICE/EQUIPMENT ASSIGNMENT:

AWARE will issue the following equipment in establishing a Virtual Office: Lap Top Computer, Cell Phone, generic fine point stylus pen, and noted monthly stipend for printing, paper costs. Equipment and vehicles are essential to accomplishing job duties, are expensive, and may be difficult to replace. When using company property, employees are expected to exercise care, perform required maintenance, and follow all operating instructions, safety standards, and guidelines. The improper, careless, negligent, destructive, or unsafe use or operation of equipment or vehicles, as well as excessive or avoidable traffic and parking violations, can result in disciplinary action. Personal use of equipment and vehicles by staff or non-AWARE employees is prohibited unless specifically assigned and/or approved by the immediate supervisor. If an employee uses his/her personal vehicle for company purposes with proper authorization, the employee's personal auto liability insurance shall be considered the primary insurance policy, and AWARE’s auto liability insurance policy shall be secondary. Employees are discouraged from bringing personal property, including electronics or computers, to the workplace. AWARE is not responsible for loss or damage to an employee’s personal property.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create and write job postings and job descriptions.
  • Review and analyze all pertinent applications, and schedule interviews
  • Generate offer letters and initiate the background check process
  • Assist with the New Hire Onboarding process
  • Supporting the internal transfers as it relates to scheduling internal interviews and meetings, generating new offer letters, following set processes and processing employee changes in our HRIS system.
  • Collaborate and communicate, professionally, tactfully, and empathetically while always maintaining a high level of confidentiality
  • Maintain best practices in recruitment compliance and identify alternative recruitment methods to include attendance of community events in order to attract and maintain a highly skilled and diversified applicant pool
  • Provide high touch customer service to all internal and external parties of AWARE
  • Professionally communicates with other departments throughout the organization through various media, including phone, email, in-person
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently

Requirements

Required Skills, Abilities & Education:

  • AA/AS Degree in a Business/Administration Related Field is required. An equivalency may be considered if the work history is direct employment experience.
  • Two (2) years of Human Resource and/or recruitment experience.
  • MS Office: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Must have excellent organization skills, strong attention to detail and follow-up skills are required
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple, often conflicting priorities while supporting multiple leaders.
  • Must be able to take abstract direction and take appropriate action as needed
  • Must be pro-active and be able to take initiative to find the right candidate for the open position
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn, with a willingness to embrace change
  • Must always demonstrate confidentiality and discretion, balancing coordination of sensitive/confidential information with those who truly “need to know”
  • Demonstrates a commitment to integrity & unyielding commitment to compliance and always “do the right thing”
