Job Title: Barista

Position Overview:

Avra is in search of someone who is prepared to support our successful team as one of our Barista on-site at our Beverly Hills location! In detail, the Barista is responsible for maintaining the barista area presentable and running smoothly, including but not limited to, the orders being made in a timely fashion, all orders made flavorful and presentable, possesses knowledge about all coffee and tea beverages. Additionally, ensure guest orders meet company standards with customer satisfaction.

Job Description & Expectations:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, and tea.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the barista area
• Maintain area well stocked with supplies needed during their shift
• Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
• Posses general knowledge of espresso machine use
• has knowledge of how to make coffee, teas, espressos, cappuccinos
• Maintain inventory of supplies and notify management when items need to be restocked
• Capable of maintaining all coffee orders in fast paste work environment

Quality Assurance Requirements:

Ensures that strict adherence is maintained regarding the standards of quality pertaining to customer service, including but not limited to:

• Delivery of effective coffee
• Maintaining food handler standards

What we are searching for:

• 2 years’ experience in a high-volume cafe or restaurant preferred
• Strong guest service skills
• Strong barista skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a deadline-driven manner while working in a demanding environment

Salary Range:

$16.00 tips
