Avo Photonics is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops, and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base.

We seek a diligent and dedicated Desktop Support Technician who can help maintain a secure computing environment. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects.

Responsibilities :

• Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of desktop support issues
• Responsible for 300 Windows Professional endpoints
• Deploy and maintain all endpoint hardware and software
• Ensure all endpoints are current with Windows Updates and Security Applications
• Manage inventory asset system
• Manage printers, docking stations, & conference room connectivity
• Set up new users with phones, desks, computers, & monitors

Requirements :

• Three to five years of Desktop / End-user Support experience preferred
• Understanding of Windows Networking (DHCP, DNS)
• Knowledge of Windows File Shares
• Available to work a Friday through Wednesday schedule
• MCDST / A certifications (preferred but not required)
