The Opportunity

Avidity is looking for a Contracts Administrator to support the Legal Department and internal clients by submitting a high volume of contracts requests and tracking the requests through the contract negotiation, award and administration life cycle. This position will focus on submitting contract requests for the organization. Previous knowledge of contracts is required.

What You Will Contribute

  • Serve as a liaison between Avidity, internal clients, and outside vendors to facilitate contract negotiation and execution.
  • Enter contract requests into Avidity’s contracting system (Cobblestone) and ensure contracts move through the award process in a timely manner.
  • Ensure contracts are signed in compliance with Avidity’s signature policy.
  • Collaborate with Avidity clients to assess contract requirements, especially when client requirements may not be fully defined.
  • Monitor progress of pending contract requests
  • Obtain signatures of all parties on contracts through DocuSign
  • Create records for all completed requests
  • Monitor and follow-up on expiration alerts with the business
  • Possibly draft/negotiate low-level contracts

What We Seek

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Demonstrate excellent attention to detail

Proficient in contract management systems

Understand legal terminology

Ability to act as a liaison between clients and Legal Department

Knowledge of contract language, types and relationships

Ability to work with a team at all organization levels

Ability to draft and edit low-level contracts (CDAs)

Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and a quick learner.

Excellent organization and time-management skills.

What We will Provide to You:

  • The base salary range for this role is $73,000 - $81,000. The final compensation will be commensurate with such factors as relevant experience, skillset, internal equity and market factors.
  • Avidity offers competitive compensation and benefits which includes the opportunity for annual and spot bonuses, stock options and RSUs, as well as a 401(k) with an employer match. In addition, the comprehensive wellness program includes coverage for medical, dental, vision, and LTD, and four weeks of time off.
