Aviation Strategies is Hiring a Junior Account Manager | Event Specialist Near Saint Petersburg, FL

Aviation Strategies is a consulting firm dedicated to empowering our employees and promoting a diverse, performance-based, work environment that provides everyone an equal chance to succeed. Currently, we are seeking a Junior Account Manager and Event Specialist to represent our retail clients in the Tampa area. The primary function of this position is to meet with prospective customers in order to educate and assist in securing new contracts. Our ultimate goal is to drive revenue and deliver five-star service on behalf of our brand partners.

Basic Job Duties:

  • Building and maintaining relationships: This person is responsible for establishing new accounts and creating rapport with each customer to ensure continued brand loyalty.
  • Meeting sales targets: Ensure that the company's revenue goals are met.
  • Conducting market research: Maintain good understanding of the market and retail trends to identify potential improvements for future events in your territory.
  • Providing feedback to management: Deliver regular verbal reports to management about the performance of the sales team and product feedback.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in a Sales, Marketing, Business or Finance related field
  • 2 years’ experience in client facing or customer focused roles
  • A student mentality and the willingness to teach others
  • Comfortability in a fast paced, performance-based position
