Clinical Reimbursement Manager/ Resident Assessment Manager (RN)
Position Summary:
The primary purpose of the position is to manage the day to day operations of the department, ensuring department and facility compliance with RAI process in accordance with the requirements of this state and the policies and goals of this facility.
Employment Qualifications
Education: Must possess, as a minimum, an RN Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
Licensure: State of Florida RN license required.
Experience: Must have at least 2 years of experience with the PDPM and RAI process. Managerial experience preferred.
Essential Job Functions
Acts as a Resource to the MDS staff regarding the MDS/PDPM/CP process.
Monitors the completion of MDS/CAA’s/CPs for accuracy and timeliness, bringing concerns to the interdisciplinary team members or manager as needed.
Shares in completion of the MDS and care plans for residents.
Works with Facility Coder and MDS Coordinators to insure accurate diagnosis are recorded in resident’s record.
Participate in end of month billing review for accuracy.
Attend monthly Q.A. and Administration meetings.
Work as a team member with other Department Managers.
Keeps Administration informed of concerns regarding compliance with State and Federal regulations.
