Performs a variety of machine operations utilizing numerical control machines to cut, shape or form metal parts to specifications. Write and edit program on the software and at the machine.

CNC Set Up Operator & Programmer Schedule: Monday – Friday ; overtime available and flexible schedule 

1st. Shift: 

- 7:00 am – 5:30 pm 

- 6:00 am - 4:30 pm 

CNC Set Up Operator & Programmer Requirements: 

2-3 years’ experience operating more than 2 machines , Citizens CNC swiss lathes machines and or Fixed headstock ( Tsugami, Doosan, Mori Seiki , Miyano ) 

• Able to do set-ups 

• Able to write and edit a program at the machine/ software for Fixed headstock, Citizens or Index MS32/ 40. 

Knowledge of ESPRIT is a plus

• Able to read and understand blueprints

• Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers and other measurement devices. 

• Capable of lifting 35-40 lbs. • Knowledge of cutting tools used in CNC machines. 

• Able to make adjustments on the machine . 

• Good communication skills 

• High attention to detail • Good technical and mathematical skills 

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
