Position Responsibilities:

• Directs the organization’s month-end process and ensures the accuracy of financial records.
• Reconciles bank statements
• Directs accounting policies and procedures and computer application systems necessary to maintain proper records and ensure adequate accounting controls and services.
• Maintains costing system and performs variance analysis.
• Reconciles inventory and maintains records.
• Directs and coordinates the annual budget
• Coordinates tax reporting programs
• Maintains the fixed asset system.
• Works with outside CPA to complete annual financial review and 401K audit.
• Administers 401k
• Additional analysis and financial reporting as required.
• Supervises finance staff.
• Month-end close completed by 5th business day
• Complete and accurate file of balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Accurate and up-to-date reconciliations
• GAAP compliance
• Safeguarded records and data, both written and digital in compliance with CMMC.
• Accurate and up-to-date inventory
• Attainable, well-formed yearly budget completed and approved by December 31st.
• Oversees and assists in tax reporting
• Accurate records of fixed assets
• Issuance of reviewed financial reports.

Essential Skills & Education/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a four-year college or university, 5 years related experience and training
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
