Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Services the Supervisor, Digital Workspace will lead a team of engineers responsible for the efficient operation and optimization of our organization's digital workspace. The Supervisor will oversee Windows, Mac, and Desktop as a Service (DaaS) workstations, as well as manage Entra ID and the Microsoft 365 (M365) platform. This role requires a deep understanding of endpoint management, identity and access management, and collaboration platforms. The Supervisor will work closely with their manager on technical roadmap initiatives, resource planning, and prioritization. This individual will also work and collaborate closely with other teams within the Enterprise Services group to provide a positive user experience.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers responsible for the engineering, architecture, and design of endpoint management systems including Intune, JAMF, Citrix, Entra ID, and other Microsoft 365 applications
  • Provide guidance for current Windows and Macintosh workstation images
    • This team will build, maintain, and support a base image for workstations including OS, drivers and software packages utilized by all business partners that align with security standards and best practices
  • Serve as a management escalation point for Managed Workstation issues and/or end user tickets
  • Monitor and utilize the service desk ticketing system to resolve customer issues in a timely manner
  • Identify trends in reoccurring tickets and focus on resolving globally
  • Target automated or scripted fixes instead of manual one-offs
  • Perform supervisory duties that include (but are not limited to) completing status reports, ensuring your team adheres to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and setting goals for your team
  • Coach and mentor staff to build a culture of engagement, accountability, and ownership
  • Ensure training and development of team, motivating, maintaining, and enhancing knowledge of the environment
  • Independently manage the execution of minor projects focused on delivering new system functionality, including the definition of deliverables and milestones, reporting status, and coordinating with internal and external partners to deliver the project scope on time and on budget
  • Lead packages through the Software Introduction Process, ensure standard processes are followed, documented, and then troubleshoot issues with the packaging process
  • Recommend and provide tools to support the managed environment for tier two support personnel and software repackaging/sequencing
  • The use of ServiceNow for all Incident/Problem/Change records
  • Understands and complies with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements applicable to our business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of experience working directly with the rollout and management of end-user endpoints (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, etc.)
  • 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure including Entra ID, Domain Controllers, and Group Policy administration
  • 2 years of experience directly managing or serving as a senior technical advisor on a team focused on endpoint management technologies
  • Demonstrates the ability to review requirements and develop test cases to validate the requirements.
  • Ability to develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure that all system applications and products meet organization standards and business requirements/use cases
  • Ability to develop and implement software quality assurance tests to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects
  • Must be able to gather requirements and help architect, plan, and implement system solutions for all Endpoint Devices to meet customer requirements
  • Ability to participate in off-shift coverage will be required for on-call support of Endpoint Device systems
  • Experience implementing a Zero Trust environment. is a plus.
  • Experience directly managing team members in remote locations is a plus.
