Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project:

About the Opportunity
The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) team defines and builds features that optimize the way search engines crawl, index and rank client pages. We help our customers easily find and reach relevant client pages when searching on search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. With literally hundreds of millions of products listed on client globally at any time, the scale at which client has to consider search engine optimization puts our team in a unique position to innovate and provide immediate value to the business. The SEO team comprises of Technical SEOs, Product Management, Product Development, Data Science, Quality Engineering, and Operations. We also work with Design, User Research, Analytics and other cross-domain organizations to build scalable and highly-available business solutions that are used by millions of client users across the globe every day. We are responsible for driving free organic traffic from search engines that represents billions of dollars worth of goods and services bought on client.

Responsibilities
We are seeking a Lead Product Manager with a focus on content as a traffic driver. This role will be responsible for defining and executing on our SEO Content strategy and roadmap. This person will ensure any content integrates within client's existing content ecosystem and will be responsible for the associated metrics and content performance from both an SEO (traffic) and a user experience perspective.

Qualifications

• 7 years' experience in a Product Management
• Data driven and goals-oriented, with a track record of execution and delivering impact.
• Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) concepts and methodologies
• Experience working in large, matrixed organizations preferred
• Solid understanding of the user needs, how data fits in with the front-end experience/design, and know how to validate the outcome via A/B testing and other testing methodologies
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas into clear, usable requirements and the ability to drive consensus and problem solve

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $75.00 - $78.00 per hour
