Job Summary : Performs a variety of general maintenance and repair to equipment and buildings at an assigned facility. Such activities may include the following as well as other duties as assigned :

Principal Responsibilities :

Performs plumbing, painting and carpentry throughout the facility.

Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and performs electrical control and mechanical repair on conveyors, forklifts, and other related automated warehouse equipment.

May troubleshoot and repair and / or replace electrical equipment, switches, fixtures, lighting, and wiring.

May measure, cut, pull wiring and install electrical conduit.

May inspects electrical equipment and wiring for hazards and makes repairs as necessary.

Completes and updates HVAC documentation, log books and maintenance schedules.

Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.

Job Level Specifications :

Performs functions that are routine in nature with minimal complexity or variation.

Work is performed under supervision and receives detailed instructions to perform tasks. Follows priorities provided to them for performing work.

Interacts mostly with immediate peers within assigned work group. Limited interaction and information exchange with other internal departments or work groups may be required to perform role.

Impact of decisions is typically contained within assigned work.

Experience : Typically less than one year

Education / Certification :

High School Diploma or equivalent

Distinguishing Characteristics :

Although rare, position could require travel. May require standing for prolonged periods of time and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Overtime occurs based on customer needs and is required based on business need.
