RESPONSIBILITIES

· Promptly greets and rooms patients

· Prepares for exams, including cleaning and preparing treatment rooms, obtaining medical information/history from patients, and recording vital signs and measurements

· Processes provider orders and documents appropriately in the EMR

· Responds to patient calls and requests, promptly returning phone calls

· Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required

· Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

· High School Diploma

· At least 1 year of experience working as a Registered Medical Assistant

· Familiarity with state law on nursing care, nurse practice guidelines, and clinic policies and procedures

· Highly professional and dependable

· Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, staff, vendors, and others

· Medical coding/billing and/or medical record keeping experience a plus

· Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed

While performing the duties of this job, employee will comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to Autumn Road Family Practice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
