Job Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, such as taking vital signs and performing basic medical procedures.
  • Manage timelines and deadlines of each of your assigned patients including receiving patient consents, medical lien or LOP, and all available medical records.
  • Effectively manage a caseload.
  • Take ownership of patient files for review and communication with referring accounts.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
  • Draw up injections (Sterile Technique)
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries.
  • Translate for patients as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols.
  • Answer calls
  • General offices duties, or other duties indicated by Practice Manager

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
  • Case management/Care Coordination
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
