Looking for a Medical Receptionist with Experience in Waterbury CT

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Greet and discharge patients in a courteous and helpful manner
• Collecting copays and verifying insurance information
• Entering and registering new patients
• Patient scheduling and data entry into patient’s electronic medical records
• Provide office phone support which includes responding to patient and vendor inquiries, scheduling, rescheduling and cancelling appointments
• Act as a liaison between patients and other staff, including medical assistants, physicians, administrative assistants, etc.

Qualifications:

• Candidates will be courteous, articulate, and reliable. Must be able to multi-task in a busy and professional environment while maintaining excellent customer service
• At least one year of experience in a medical office setting is preferred
• Must have valid CT driver’s license and own transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
