Position Primary Purpose: Responsible for performing clerical duties pertaining to the efficient record keeping of the office, as well as other related duties assigned. Recognizes and prioritizes the patient and referrers as our customers. Interacts with customers with a professional and caring demeanor at all times providing superior quality and customer service. Adheres to the NVRA confidentiality and Privacy Practices. Flexibility to work varied hours, depending on our patient care needs including all office hours and weekends. Provides proper notification for absence or tardiness.

Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Technical knowledge: Basic knowledge of computers; Knowledge of word processing and typing skills.
Experience Required: Medical Terminology knowledge preferred.
Repetitive Motions: Majority of time spent at the computer and on the phone. Movements frequently and regularly require using the wrists, hands, or fingers.
Physical: Sitting most of the time. Position requires ability to lift and carry x-ray film jackets and to file overhead. Annual flu shot is required.
Skills/Abilities: Flexibility to work varied hours as needed, including weekend hours.
Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct. Open, accurate and responsive communication, oral and written, on an individual basis or in groups. Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines. Good interpersonal skills.
OCCUPATIONAL RISKS: Subject to normal occupational hazards for employee in radiological work at various sites. Employee may frequently be exposed to hazardous materials such as chemical and electromagnetic radiation as in CRT’s (VDT’s), radiation.
