Autoslide LLC is Hiring a Product Support Specialist Near Tampa, FL

Job Overview:
AutoSlide LLC designs and manufactures automatic door systems for the accessibility, pet, and luxury markets. We are seeking a new team member for an open full time position at our HQ in Tampa, FL. This position will entail both technical support (primary duties) and inside sales (secondary duties).

Product Support Duties:

  • Communicating with customers and contractors via phone and email at a high level
  • Managing multiple customers with ongoing troubleshooting and support tickets through email
  • Helping to troubleshoot systems over the phone, through online chat, or via email, and arranging for subsequent replacements or repairs.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
  • Assist customers with setting up and configuring software applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Maintain knowledge base articles and contribute to the development of support documentation
  • Helping to answer product inquiries.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries and strive for high customer satisfaction
  • Potentially testing door opener systems on a simulator rig

Inside Sales and Authorized Dealer Duties:

  • Assess and prioritize existing leads based on potential revenue, readiness to buy, and fit with the company's offerings to optimize sales efforts
  • Craft personalized communications and outreach strategies for existing leads to enhance engagement and move them through the sales funnel.
  • Provide detailed product demonstrations and walkthroughs to illustrate the benefits and features of products, addressing specific customer needs and concerns
  • Employ effective negotiation techniques to close deals, while ensuring that the terms satisfy both the customer's needs and the company's objectives
  • Leverage sales promotions and discounts strategically to incentivize quick decision-making among hesitant leads or those nearing the purchase decision stage
  • Help to onboard new authorized Autoslide dealers in conjunction with the Lead Product Specialist.

Full training will be provided for all items. No specialized technical skills required, but basic skills necessary include:

  • Must be able to communicate via phone, online chat, and email in English at a high level.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, data entry, and various communication tools to streamline the sales process and maintain accurate records.
  • Must have high computer proficiency
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to handle customer inquiries politely and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to quickly identify problems and think logically to provide effective solutions, often under pressure
  • Flexibility to handle unexpected situations or changes in products, technology, or customer needs.
  • Capability to pay close attention to the details of customer issues as well as internal processes to ensure accurate problem-solving and reporting.
  • Ability to accurately document issues and resolutions in a clear and concise manner for future reference and for use by other team members.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple leads and efficiently prioritizing tasks to maximize productivity and meet sales targets.
  • Experience with a pallet jack is preferred, but not necessary
  • Capacity to handle rejection and continue pursuing potential sales with optimism and tenacity.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and responding effectively to their inquiries and concerns.
  • Understanding of sales principles and techniques, including lead qualification, negotiation, and closing strategies.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm
