Job purpose
The Lender Relations Specialist is an integral part of the AutoPayPlus Team. A Lender Relations specialist is responsible for being a liaison between the member and the lender, insuring both parties are updated accurately so related issues can be resolved accordingly. The Lender Relations Specialist role is pivotal in upholding APP operational best practices, ensuring they align with our core values of Above & Beyond, Do the Right Thing, Innovation, Team, We Care, and Work Ethic. The Lender Relations Specialist must always provide a five-star member experience every day.
Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for driving escalated cases through to resolution. Guarantee cases and member issues/concerns are handled accurately and professionally along with carrying out other related duties.
Maintains a strategic relationship with financial institutions and vendors.
Acts as a liaison between the member and the lender by communicating member needs and concerns to lenders, while also communicating lenders’ concerns to the member.
Ensure all parties are kept informed of relevant updates and progress.
Collaborates with other departments within APP to deliver a higher standard of service and achieve company goals.
Review and monitor accounts to ensure proper guidelines and back-office procedures have been executed on active and non-active accounts.
Adheres to company policies and procedures.
Upholds professionalism, accuracy, trustworthiness, and service delivery with exceptional five-star member experience daily with all assigned other tasks.
Systems used for role: Proprietary company software database, Microsoft Office, and Adobe PDF.
Qualifications The position generally requires an individual to have the following qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in call center environments with expertise in dialing solutions; experience with Five9 is a valuable asset.
Bilingual proficiency is a desirable qualification and receives immediate consideration.
A basic understanding of loan types and servicing or a willingness to learn.
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
