Automation Personnel Services is Hiring a Shipping Clerk Near Marietta, GA
Pay Rate
$18-$22.00 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Shipping Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain complete ownership of the shipping and billing cycle
- Acts as the direct point of contact for logistics and carrier needs and requests
- Provide the highest level of customer service for each customer or vendor
- Meet and/or exceed individual and team goals
- Research new and existing freight vendors for better terms and pricing
- Collaborates with multiple internal and external teams to ensure there is clear communication on issues with orders/ shipping
- Effectively service incoming calls and on-line chats with customers to assist with questions
- Assist inside sales with data entry for sales orders
- Acts as strategic partner for the team by continuously sharing ideas that will facilitate company growth and/or streamline current processes.
- At least 1 year of recent logistics and shipping experience
- Ability to balance multiple conflicting priorities while remaining professional and composed
- Must have great customer service skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate and work well in a team
- Drug test and Background check required
