Automation Personnel Services is Hiring a Human resource assistant Near Smyrna, GA

Human Resources Assistant

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a dedicated Human Resources Assistant for a company based in Smyrna, Georgia.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing an array of Human Resources functions in a fast-paced environment at one of the country’s most well-respected firearms manufacturers.

The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communications skills, be highly-organized and able to multitask.

Pay Rate

$21.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Human Resources Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle termination procedures including file preparation and delivery to HR.
  • Manage personnel files, actions, and updates, including new-hire paperwork.
  • Maintain stock of new-hire packets and review temporary worker timecards.
  • Keep HR forms updated, manage HR boards, and distribute relevant postings.
  • Assist with recruitment projects, data entry, scheduling interviews, and other HR tasks as needed.

Human Resources Assistant Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1- 3 years prior experience
  • Proficient in Outlook, MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and understand the importance of employee and company confidentiality.
  • Drug screening, background check and lifting assessments are required.
