Responsible for setting up the next part for the machine.
Responsible for all aspects (quality, safety, productivity, certain preventive maintenance procedures, and general housekeeping) of heat treating operations.
Responsible for hardness checking and accurately recording in the Heat Treat Database.
Make adjustments to the furnace atmosphere.
All other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Above average computer skills and good attendance.
Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information one-on-one and in small groups. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in various units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.
Ability to know when and how to make adjustments as required to sensors and die protections systems.
Must be able to regularly stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms frequently.
Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to visually assess part quantities when stacked.
Must be able to tolerate extremely warm environment.
