Successfully lead, direct, and coordinate the quality activities of our customers.
Direct problem-solving activities resulting from Quality issues.
Develop meaningful relationships with our customers’ manufacturing plants and Quality staff.
Drive continuous improvement through corrective action implementation and lessons learned.
Reports to Director of Quality & Program Management; Chief Metallurgist

Customer Quality Engineering
Achieve a meaningful understanding of customer-reported issues.
Be the Champion for customer-reported rejection.
Assist the manufacturing team in producing quality products each and every time.
Drive accurate root cause analysis.
Implement meaningful and lasting corrective actions.
No corrective actions open beyond 30 days unless specifically reasoned with a specific cause.
Foster relationship development between the manufacturing Quality team and our customers.
Create an environment and the relationships necessary to rally the company around Quality-related issues.
Be an expert in maintaining quality documents and learning lessons through problem-solving with a read-across approach.

QUALIFICATIONS
BS of Engineering, Metallurgy or Materials Science
3 years of Automotive Experience in Quality Engineering
Experience with IATF 16949:2016
Ability to adapt to AIAG core tools.
Knowledge of SPC, DOE, and GD&T
Excellent problem solver - understanding of 8-D methodology.
Ability to effectively communicate, Lead and Motivate other to develop quality focused manufacturing culture.
