Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities. This is a full-time position in a dental office setting.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Utilize phone systems to handle incoming and outgoing calls efficiently
- Perform general clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure seamless patient flow
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns and resolving issues promptly
Experience:
- Previous experience as a receptionist in a medical office is highly preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and appointment scheduling software is a plus
- Proficiency in using Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets) or similar software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in transcribing information
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a professional manner
