SUMMARY

The Warehouse Cleaner performs routine maintenance and cleaning duties. This position requires operating a forklift and cherry picker to clean the racks. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains and cleans all floor and rack surfaces.
• Collects and disposes of paper and trash.
• Empties trash receptacles for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials.
• Use of heavy cleaning equipment, such as, floor scrubbers.
• Adhere to general safety requirements.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Familiar with warehouse processes.
3. PC and basic computer knowledge.
4. Attention to detail and task completion.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT

1. Work is normally performed in a warehouse work environment.
2. Bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
3. Generally limited exposure to physical risk.
4. Comfort with working at elevated heights.
