The teacher will execute the provided pre-curriculum intergrading hands on learning opportunities. The pre-k teacher assitant will:•Adhere to the school policies around behavior expectations, with rewards and consequences.•Work effectively and professionally with all school team members.•Implement small group instruction as required.•Align all teaching to our standards-based curriculum.•Inform all instructional decisions with data as a classroom-planning tool.•Work with MSCS staff to ensure all compliance is meet in the classroom.Work with lead teacher to implement a safe and welcoming classroom. •Participate in high frequency coaching.•Follow all professional norms.•Do whatever it takes to achieve the mission of Aurora Collegiate Academy.QualificationsRequired:At least 48 semesters hours of college (2 years) or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment Test with a high school diploma.Must be have or be able to obtain a certificate in CPR and First Aid.Required 1 of the following:Must be able to obtain a Child Development Associate Certificate within 2 years of the time of hire. A willingness to complete all duties and responsibilities to the fullest.A belief that all students can succeed in college and a desire to lead students to that outcome.Additional InformationPlease submit a resume and current teaching license if applicable.
