Position: Accounting Assistant

Reports to: Accounting Manager

Job Type: Part time or Full to the right candidate.

Job Description:

Our organization is looking for an experienced accounting member. You will need a strong background in accounting principles. You will join a team who oversees daily operations of multiple accounts including A/R and A/P while insuring a high level of accuracy of all accounts.

Responsibilities:

· Contact with managers and vendors when needed.

· Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Taxes.

· Ensure Compliance with current accounting, tax laws and regulations.

· Work with accounting manager to ensure excellent bookkeeping practices.

· Other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required, depending on experience.

· Must have 3 years proven background in bookkeeping, accounting or related fields.

· Well organized and excellent written and verbal communication. Including phone and email etiquette.

· Experience with QuickBooks is a must.

· Ability to interpret tax and accounting laws to regulations to ensure compliance.

· Ability to recognize opportunities and apply problem solving skills to resolve or make improvements.

· Growth Mindset, ability to lead and work as a team.

· Ability to comply with instructions.

· Ability to work under pressure effectively to meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to sit for long periods of time.

· In Office

Schedule:

· Monday to Friday 8-5

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
