What You Will Do:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Child Welfare Subject Matter Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expertise and guidance in the field of child welfare to ensure the safety and well-being of children in need of protection, key responsibilities include developing and implementing best practices, policies, and procedures, conducting training sessions for staff members, and staying current on relevant laws and regulations.

A Child Welfare Subject Matter Expert (SME) plays a crucial role in providing expertise and guidance in the field of Child Welfare. Responsibilities typically include developing and implementing best practices, policies, and procedures related to child welfare services, conducting training and workshops for staff members, staying up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the well-being and safety of children in need of protection. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a deep understanding of child welfare practices.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures in child welfare services
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date on laws and regulations related to child welfare
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the safety and well-being of children in need of protection
  • Provide guidance and support to staff members on complex child welfare cases

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in child welfare services
  • Strong knowledge of child welfare laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and compassion for children in need of protection
