Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Managed Health Senior Project Manager is responsible for supporting projects and initiatives for the Managed Health Division. This person will lead all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects. Serves as an interface for assigned projects and partners with leadership, payors, vendors, business partners, etc. Maintain and communicates all project status reports.Responsible for leading all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects. Serves as an interface for assigned project(s) and partners with leadership, customers, consultants and contractors. Monitors schedule for completion of project(s). Maintain and communicates all project status reports.Essential FunctionsSupports Managed Health team in delegated projects and initiatives designed to achieve Advocate Health's strategic priorities and objectives.Coordination of special projects, meetings and events, communications, and deliverables, including planning, strategy, and logistics.Supports internal and external engagement plans, initiatives and program matters pertaining to Advocate Health's Managed Health Division.Plan, manages, and monitor projects from concept through implementation. Act as a primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.Supervise the work of subcontractors or consultants to ensure quality and conformance to specifications or budget.Meet with internal customers of assigned project to provide status updates and reports and gather project related feedback.Ensures efficient and optimal utilization of capital resources associated with renovation projects occurring in division facilities.Serves as the liaison with construction and design (C&D) for capital projects that include necessary renovation to develop capital budget and assist with timing of project schedule. Works with C&D project managers and division leadership to communicate project status, potential issues and timeline as required.Track costs and performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met.Physical RequirementsEach teammate has the responsibility to work in a safe manner. Work requires frequent moving from one area to another, coordinating, and communicating with persons in various disciplines and agencies. Frequent walking, standing and climbing may be required.Education, Experience and CertificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.
