Our client is a well-known NYS housing organization which specializes in providing housing for single parents, couples, and those in extreme need. They are currently looking for a Director of Social Services to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the Social Services Department
• Oversee or monitor all clinical provisions of the program for clients
• Assesses and coordinates Social Services staff training needs
• Assesses, coordinates, and facilitates staff training
• Provide back-up administrative coverage in the absence of the Program Director as needed
• Monitors and ensures the accuracy of employee timekeeping and payroll systems
• Ensures timely evaluations of social service staff, identifying areas for improvement and corrective actions as needed
• Conduct and facilitate meetings as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Social Work, or any other related field
• Master’s Degree preferred
• Minimum of (5) years of experience in social services
• Proficient in child/adolescent development on a emotional and behavioral level and family dynamics

Please note- The annual base salary range is $65k to $75k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
