Atlas Search is Hiring a Desktop support specialist Near Menlo, CA
This is with an international law firm- 5 days onsite. No corp-to-corp
Responsibilities :
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems and applications
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues in a timely manner
- Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions
- Collaborate with IT team members to ensure seamless operation of IT systems
- Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed
- Document support activities and maintain knowledge base articles
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in desktop support or a similar IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office 365 applications
- Familiarity with legal software such as document management systems (e.g., iManage) is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are desirable but not required
