A renowned non-profit organization based in NY and NJ is currently seeking LCSWs or LPCs for their Family Violence Prevention Program. You will be tasked with joining the treatment team and providing direct clinical social work services to clients in the abuse intervention program, targeting behaviors that have led or could lead to domestic violence. The base pay range for this position is $40 to $48 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Responsibilities:
Function as part of the Family Violence Prevention Program treatment team
Provide direct clinical social work services to clients in the program
Provide clinical assessments, consultations, therapy, discharge planning, and client-centered advocacy
Interview clients, their families and other involved persons/agencies to obtain data needed for diagnosis and treatment planning
Conduct assessments for the purpose of establishing a plan to enhance clients' capacity for social functioning and community reintegration
Facilitates FVPP curriculum as well as individual sessions
Maintain an extensive directory of resources relative to health care, social services, housing, social entitlement and disability agencies, and vocational assistance programs
Qualifications
Master's degree in a human service or mental health/counseling related field
Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of NJ
2 years of relevant experience and knowledge of cognitive-behavioral intervention and motivational interviewing skills
Prior training or experience dealing with domestic violence is highly preferred
