What You’ll Do

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and weaknesses, as well as any potential learning or behavioral challenges.
• Provide individual and group counseling services to students facing academic, social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to address the needs of students and provide recommendations for interventions or accommodations
• Assist in the development and implementation of intervention plans to support students with diverse needs, including those with learning disabilities, behavioral issues, or emotional concerns.
• Develop and implement behavior management strategies and interventions to address challenging behaviors in the school environment.
• Participate in and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement appropriate educational plans for students with special needs.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers, providing them with information and support related to their child's educational and emotional well-being.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and counseling sessions. Prepare reports and documentation as needed.

Compensation & Schedule

• Annual Range $62,500 - $73,407
• Signing Bonus: $1,000
• Monday – Friday; Occasional evenings and weekends as needed

Who You Are

• MS, Ed.S., or Ph.D. in School Psychology
• Colorado Special Providers License with School Psychologist K-12 endorsement.
• Must pass a state background check and motor vehicle records check.
• Ability to apply Trauma-Informed Care practices
• Demonstrated ability and passion for working with diverse groups of stakeholders
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Microsoft Excel basic proficiency for data tracking and reports.
• Growth mindset toward self, peers, students, and families.
