Your Role:
Atlas Copco is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to provide an opportunity to work on actual initiatives that support our 2024 Business Plan. The initiatives will be relevant to your academic growth and will offer you the chance to build as you work across multiple disciplines in the organization. These initiatives include Project Engineering support, Project Design support, and assisting in the standardization of a product offering. Contribute value by giving input, sharing knowledge, and challenging the status quo. Work and be curious to learn and jump in to add value. Understand we do not know all the answers and encourage you to bring academic and practical knowledge to share with Atlas Copco. Expect a great place to work and know you are valued!
The internship will conclude with a final presentation to the leadership team and highlight the impact you made at Atlas Copco.
To Succeed, You Will Need:
To work onsite / in person #LI-Onsite
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a Mechanical Engineering program
GPA 3.3 minimum
To be in your Sophomore or Junior year of college
Successful completion of Computer Aided Design and Engineering (CAD) course(s) required
2 to 6 months experience with 3D CAD experience
Basic understanding of engineering mechanics required (statics)
Basic understanding of manufacturing tools
FEA (Finite Element Analysis) course completion
Responsible for mechanical designs associated with the production of solutions
Work 40 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
Reliable transportation to get to and from your work location
