Local Industrial Company Looking for a Controller to Drive Financial Excellence for a Rapidly Scaling Business!

At Atlanta Compressor, we provide peace of mind to manufacturing and other industrial industries by supplying and maintaining production critical equipment. We know that manufacturing is critical to a strong American economy and it is our responsibility to help keep the plants running. We sell & service the industrial compressed air systems that our customers rely on as the life-blood to their operation. Without compressed air, the entire plant/facility is shut down or at reduced capacity. SO WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

As our Controller, you will play a critical role in driving financial excellence and supporting our business growth. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring financial strategies, policies, and procedures to align with our business objectives.
  • Building relationships and providing support to team members to ensure their success and satisfaction.
  • Managing all aspects of the financial function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Overseeing payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making and drive performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Leading and developing the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

THINGS YOU HAVE DONE IN THE PAST

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting leadership role, preferably in a rapidly scaling organization.
  • Proficiency in financial software and technology, with a demonstrated ability to adapt to new systems.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including GAAP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CMA preferred.
