Athenix Cyber & SIGINT is Hiring a System Engineer 1 Near Annapolis, MD
Athenix Cyber & SIGINT is seeking a Systems Engineer 1 to work in the in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The Systems Engineer 1 develops, maintains and enhances complex and diverse software systems.
Position Summary:
Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- One (1) year of experience as a System Engineering (SE) experience is required(OR) Twelve (12) credit hours of college course work in one (1) or more of the Technical Process areas may be substituted for the (1) year of systems engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline is required. (See Note 1,2) (OR)A High School Diploma and four (4) years of general systems engineering experience (any Process Area) may be substituted for a Bachelors degree.
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Desired experience:
- Familiarity with Computer Network Operations, Information Assurance, & SIGINT experience is highly desirable
