Job Summary |
The Merchandise Systems Support Manager is part of the Merchandise Operations team and is responsible for all merchandising related master data as the PIM Admin, product partner records and setup process and product partner communications. They support the buying team through accurate troubleshooting and maintenance of master data through the PIM and JDA systems. The Merchandise Systems Support Manager directly leads the Item Control specialist in the execution of master data corrections & exceptions in the purchase order system (mss), maintenance of product partner records (supplier insurance) and communications (supplier communication). |
Key Roles and Responsibilities |
• As the PIM Admin, they are directly responsible for managing all aspects of master data including but not limited to data updates, system troubleshooting, data accuracy and governance through the application of corporate business rules.• Leads the process to identify and request enhancements. PIM/Master Data (JDA) and the Buyer Smartsheet (BSS). Manages the relationship between merchandising and IT support inclusive of prioritizing and tracking enhancement requests, leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and recommending project approval to the Director of Merchandising Operations.• Train and supervise the Item Control specialist in all areas of responsibility including but not limited to: Master data management, troubleshooting and updates; Supplier Setup process management and COI approval; Supplier Communications (as needed).• Directly manage the Product partner setup process inclusive of:Certificate of Insurance (COI) approvalsProduct Partner Records: PO Agreements, Factory Assessments, & approved COI’sMaster Product Partner ListMaster Product Partner Email List• Directly leads the System Access Request (SAR) process for the Merchandising Pyramid• Support the Merchant Calendar Process by scheduling key milestone meetings. Update meetings as needed to adjust for New Hires.• Manage the process to drive continuous improvement in data management, troubleshooting and building of best practices in response to merchandising team needs, changes in business practices and applicable feedback.• Builds trust and maintains positive, effective working relationships with stakeholders across business units/departments and can easily work cross-functionally on assigned projects.• Other duties as assigned by supervisor |
Qualifications and Competencies |
• 5 years of merchandising or related experience is preferred.• Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Teams• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; preferably in a related field • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively work in a fast-paced, collaborative, hybrid environment, and can manage multiple priorities and projects while still being detail-focused• Demonstrates strong listening, written and verbal communication skills. Able to translate information in a well thought-out, concise, and easy-to-understand manner• Embraces change and shows adaptability and resiliency to quick changes in priorities, technology, tools, and workflow. Persists when dealing with ambiguity• Engages in active problem-solving and seeks input and timely feedback to make sound decisions• Treats others fairly and follows through on personal commitments •Demonstrates effective organizational and time management skills |
