Responsibilities:

• Patient Education and Support:
• Engage with patients diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy to understand their concerns and challenges, including financial worries about affording necessary care.
• Provide compassionate guidance and support, explaining the importance of timely treatment in preventing further complications and improving quality of life.
• Educate patients about available resources, such as insurance coverage, financial assistance programs, and payment options, to help alleviate their financial burden.
• Financial Counseling and Advocacy:
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' financial situations, including insurance coverage, out-of-pocket expenses, and eligibility for assistance programs.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and financial counselors to develop personalized financial plans tailored to each patient's needs and circumstances.
• Advocate on behalf of patients to navigate insurance claims, appeals, and reimbursement processes, ensuring they receive the maximum coverage available for peripheral neuropathy care.
• Community Outreach and Education:
• Organize educational seminars, workshops, and community events to raise awareness about peripheral neuropathy and available resources for managing the condition.
• Establish partnerships with healthcare organizations, advocacy groups, and community agencies to expand access to affordable care options and support services.
• Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for patients and their families, fostering a supportive network and promoting collaboration among stakeholders in the healthcare community.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare sales, patient advocacy, or financial counseling highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to empathize with patients facing financial challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
