Iowa based optical chain is seeking an Optical Sales Associate to join our team. The right candidate must be self-motivated, reliable, responsible, professional, and have a track record for successful development as a team member.
Job duties:
· Answers incoming and makes outgoing calls to customers regarding billing issues, scheduling appointments, recalls, general customer concerns regarding optical orders, frame and lens selection and basic frame adjustments. Candidate will also be pretesting patients for their eye exams.
· Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with customers and working to establish a positive rapport with every patient
· Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge, insurance billing and be informed of any changes in policy or pricing
Qualifications and Skills:
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· High school diploma/GED required (Experience in optical is preferred)
· Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to adapt to a fast pace environment
