Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Specialist to support the USAF Cloud One program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA

JOB STATUS: Full Time; salaried

JOB RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Provides Human Resources support service to military, Government civilians, contractors on a daily basis. Maintains WebAims, the personnel database, of all employees and manages in and out processing.
  • Reviews, tracks, and updates and submits all vacancies ads for the military Vacancy Master List (VML).
  • Updates duty titles, raters, positions and other personnel data for military members.
  • Reviews, maintains, and supports updates to the Unit Manning Document (UMD) to reflect new gains, losses, Security Access Requirement (SAR) codes, duty title changes and any division/branch personnel changes. Reviews, updates, and tracks awards.
  • Works with Branch Chief and Deputy to update duty titles, raters, positions and other personnel data for military members. Works with the Functionals to ensure maximum utilization of manpower and manage the status of ongoing personnel actions.
  • Coordinates, documents, monitors, and supports a variety of meetings and conferences to include, but not limited to, scheduling and set up of physical and virtual meetings.
  • Prepares background information and invites required meeting participants ensuring documentation of the meetings are filed IAW organizational policy.
  • Preparing factual, clear, concise, complete, and appropriately coordinated written communications.
  • Maintains scheduling documents and requirements for video and online conferencing set up and execution.
  • Monitors, tracks, and ensures compliance of all suspenses.
  • Manages Branch Leadership Calendars; including deconflicting.
  • Tracks branch personnel changes to include, new and departing employees and updates Teams channel permissions.
  • Provides travel planning and execution support.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in the respective technical/professional discipline and a minimum of 3 ears work within the DoD.
  • Ability to interface with internal and external clients.
  • Experience in Air Force Human Resources policies and procedures is highly desired.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Teams tool.
  • Understanding processes, ranks, and chain of command.
  • Candidate must have an active US security clearance for this position.
