BOND Brothers, Inc is Hiring a Manager, Human Resources Business Partner, BOND Brothers, Medford/Norwood, MA Near Medford, MA

Position Description:

Reporting to BOND’s Director, Talent Management and Employee Engagement, the Manager of HR Business Partner (HRBP) role will be embedded in the business (one subsidiary) and will work closely with leadership on all organizational and people related matters. As a HRBP, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, while providing strategic consultation, coaching and contributing to the development and implementation of HR initiatives that drive employee engagement, talent management, and organizational effectiveness. The HRBP ensures a top-notch employee experience to drive BOND’s objectives and success, through attracting, engaging, and retaining a diverse, high-performing, and innovative workforce.

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the senior leadership team and builds strong partnerships
  • Coach and consult leaders and people managers on organizational effectiveness, talent management, performance and development so they can lead the organization to meet established business targets using best practice techniques and processes.
  • Identify organizational gaps, and deploy impactful people strategies that enable the teams to perform effectively, and scale efficiently.
  • Facilitate the talent review process and create plans to develop and deploy our key talent and address succession gaps.
  • Manage and coordinate the salary review process, promotions and transfers ensuring consistent and equitable practices are utilized.
  • Implement talent development, performance management, engagement and DEI programs within the business
  • Participation in the Talent Acquisition process partnering with hiring managers to ensure best in class talent entering into the company.
  • Utilize data to derive insights on people trends to recommend, implement, and manage projects and programs.
  • Provide consultation, guidance and support in all matters related to employee relations including performance management, code of conduct, fair employment practices, accommodations and all other application of local policies, procedures and applicable laws.
  • Special projects and other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of successful business partnership, with proven success in linking HR strategies to the business.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business administration/manager or equivalent
  • Experience in working effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Hands-on approach willing to roll up sleeves to deliver results.
  • Effective influencer and coach who is a valued partner and advisor.
  • Working knowledge of multiple talent disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, DEI, performance and career management, and federal & state respective employment laws.
  • Experience establishing and using workforce metrics to understand organizational strengths and development opportunities and initiate and drive successful change.
  • Strong learning agility, critical thinking, and strategic mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to communicate complex information in a clear and compelling way.
  • Understanding of HR best practices and experience with employee relations.
  • Preferred SHRM/HRCI certification or equivalent
