Federal Account Manager
Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a Federal Account Manager. This is a full-time and hybrid position with three days onsite in McLean required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and competitor activities
- Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions for clients
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring high customer satisfaction
- Track and report sales activities and provide regular updates to management
- Additional duties as assigned
- 5 years of experience identifying and maintaining customer relationships with various agencies within the Federal Government
- Bachelor’s Degree Business, Marketing, or related field
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets
- Demonstrated ability to use federal contract sourcing tools to identity opportunities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Solid understanding of market research and analysis techniques
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
