Assure Health is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Marion, OH

Description

Mindfully Psychiatry is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our office in Marion, OH. This position plays a key role in patient care, working with our psychiatry providers and other staff to provide the best in patient care. This role will be full-time, working Monday- Thursday 8a-5p.

Pay rate: $17-$21 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with scheduling staff and physician(s) in the coordination of appointment scheduling.
  • Answers the telephone promptly and courteously, screen calls, takes messages, provides information and follows up on patient issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform provider support functions such as completing prior authorizations, prescription refills, checking Ohio Automated Rx Reporting System, and other duties.
  • Schedules patient appointments and procedures ordered by the providers.
  • Follows system and office policies and procedures with special attention to attendance and punctuality, confidentiality, dress code and display of ID badge, and safety.
  • Completes mandatory education and training to maintain organization and department specific competencies and requirements.
  • Assisting with front office responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • Must have proficient computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ experience working as a medical receptionist in a medical office
  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems
