Associated Plating Company is Hiring a Quality Manager Near Santa Fe, CA

As a privately owned and operated company with a top-tier quality system, we have earned various Customer approvals, in addition to Nadcap Merit Accreditation. We provide quality plating to various industries, from job shops to industry leading companies, such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, L3, Honeywell, and Raytheon.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Other duties may be assigned. Serves as the Management Representative having the responsibility for assuring that the Quality Policy is properly implemented and maintained. Cooperates with other top management in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals.
  • Assures the company products and services satisfy customer requirements and company standards. Assists in determining that the capabilities exist for processing jobs in accordance with customer requirements and acts as a customer liaison regarding customer requirements.
  • Maintains adequate records for inspection operations, calibration, acceptance and rejection stamps control, metallurgical testing results, and disposition of non-conforming materials.
  • Oversees dispositioning of parts that have been determined to be non-conformant. Whenever failure of any test panel occurs, verify its cause and evaluate the impact on quality products processed during that period, and inform customers, if necessary.
  • Provides surveillance of overall operations wherein a quality or reliability requirement is involved. Has authority to suspend operations that are out of specified parameters.
  • Assesses of the Quality System by internal quality system audits and management reviews. Analyzes, evaluates, and presents information to other members of the management team concerning factors such as customer satisfaction, corrective and preventative actions, and design and development of new products.
  • Writes or revises Associated Processing Specifications (APS), and augments requirements for special jobs.
  • Revises and annually reviews the Quality Assurance Manual as necessary per customer requirement or as the result of the annual review of the Manual.
  • Oversees the maintenance of military, customer, and in-house specifications libraries to the latest revisions. Oversees training of personnel for quality assurance operations.
  • Conduct internal and external audits in accordance with NADCAP requirements.

Pay: From $66,560.00 per year
