TITLE:
Animal Care Staff - Associated Humane Societies Tinton Falls
DESCRIPTION:
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to cleaning kennels daily using proper kennel cleaning procedure and proper personal protective equipment to ensure that cleanliness and sanitation levels are maintained. Proper daily maintenance of water/feeding procedures for all animals assigned. Brushing of dogs and cats as needed. Identify sick or injured animals and report to supervisor of such findings so medical staff can evaluate. Report to management any observed or known cases of abuse to any animal. Handle and assist with restraint when necessary any animal needing medical attention. Perform other duties as assigned. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
Prior experience in animal care and handling a plus, otherwise on the job training will be provided. Benefits available
