Assa Abloy is Hiring a Remote Sales Representative, Architectural
- Cultivate consulting relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers
- Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications
- Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications
- Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products, solutions, and design-assist professional services
- Assist with product substitution and approval procedures and follow up to ensure specifications are held in the bid process
- Utilize Salesforce.com as a customer relationship, project tracking and time management tool
- You are a self-motivated, organized individual with a passion for brand specific product promotion and specification
- You are known for follow-up habits and driven to satisfy your client's needs and to deliver above expectations
- You’re a strong communicator, active listener, and negotiator. You can work independently but believe in teamwork
- Your background includes a College/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: architectural design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar)
- Industry related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or construction management, will be considered in lieu of degree
- Working knowledge of Autodesk® Revit® or GRAPHISOFT® Archicad® is a plus
- You have the ability to travel upon request within an assigned territory and able to perform responsibilities in a home office environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of sample and display material for sale presentations
