Job Purpose: As Insurance Billing Specialist at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose will be to provide a multitude of essential functions of the position. These functions include -- but are not limited to -- assisting clients and other staff, assuring the face sheets, routing slips and intake logs and other working tools are appropriately available, updating pertinent client information, maintain in AVATAR for outstanding appointment and SAL's not received, determining payment responsibilities based on the fee scale, calculating and conducting up front collections, making accurate deposits, answering phone promptly and courteously, confirming benefits, calls for pre-certification and authorization when appropriate, completing insurance verification, inputting all insurance information into AVATAR correctly, running closing reports to verify entry services, confirming appointments and maintain client list. Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
